Statement from Senator Inhofe on the Enactment of the Farm Bill

Today, an overwhelming majority of the Senate voted to override the President's veto of the Farm Bill legislation. Senator Inhofe praised the enactment of the Farm Bill, which will authorize vital programs for America's farmers and ranchers:

"America's agricultural community has gone far too long without the critical authorizations provided by an updated farm bill," Senator Inhofe said. "This legislation passed Congress by overwhelming margins last week, due to the strong support of farmers and ranchers nationwide. Oklahoma's agricultural community spoke loud and clear about their support of these authorizations. I am proud to support them and ensure that Oklahoma will continue to be a national leader in agriculture production."
