Pearce Touts Conservative Values in Ruidoso

Press Release

Date: Feb. 19, 2008
Location: Ruidoso, NM
Issues: Conservative

Today, Congressman Pearce held a Meet and Greet in Ruidoso with Republicans from around Lincoln County. During the meeting, Pearce expressed his vision for building a better New Mexico and stronger America through empowering individuals, strengthening families and sharing our New Mexico conservative values.

Pearce released the following statement:

"Through five years in the U.S. Congress I have followed the conservative principles that I know make this country more free, safe and prosperous. I have consistently and without hesitation supported lower taxes, less regulation and the elimination of wasteful spending to ensure our economy stays the best in the world.

"Democrats in Congress have supported an agenda that will do just the opposite and we need someone with New Mexico's conservative values who will stand up and fight for what is right. When we stand on principle, we win. When we fight to empower individuals and not government, we win. When we fight to increase liberty for all Americans, we win. And if we ensure that Americans hard earned tax dollars are not going to wasteful programs, we can regain the mantle as the defenders of fiscal responsibility."
