Congresswoman Gillibrand meets with Students from Lake Placid High

This week Congresswoman Gillibrand met with the Lake Placid High School AP history class on their trip to the Capitol. Ten students and teachers supplemented an advanced curriculum with an end of the year tour of the Congressional chamber and Capitol building as well as a chance to meet their Congresswoman.

"The bright young minds of our area are an inspiration to me. Students like these are the reason why I am proposing a bill to make college tuition more affordable and building the opportunities and infrastructure needed to encourage them to use their talents in our community after graduation."

Congresswoman Kirsten Gillibrand is preparing to propose a bill that would make the first $10,000 of college tuition tax deductible for Middle Class Families.
