Statement from Rep. Tom Allen on Iraq Supplemental

U.S. Representative Tom Allen made the following statement today after voting against the Fiscal Year 2007 supplemental appropriations bill for the war in Iraq:

"I voted against this Iraq supplemental because it does nothing to bring our Armed Forces home and safely out of the crossfire of the Iraq civil war. A vote for this bill is a vote to give President Bush a blank check to continue his failed policy in Iraq with no accountability and no clear path to end the war."
