Goodlatte Earns Perfect Voting Score

One of Four Members Present for all Votes in 109th Congress

Washington, DC: Congressman Bob Goodlatte was one of only four members in the U.S. House of Representatives to have a perfect voting record for the 109th Congress. According to information compiled by the Washington Post, Rep. Goodlatte was present for all 1,214 votes recorded over the past two years. Of the 435 members of the House of Representatives, Reps. Goodlatte, John Kline, R-MN, Frank Upton, R-MI, and Dale Kildee, D-MI were the only Members that did not miss a single vote.

"It is an honor for to me represent the people of the Shenandoah and Roanoke Valleys and Central Virginia, and I take this job very seriously. Doing this job well means making my vote count every single time. Voting is my number one priority and I work hard to ensure that I can make it to each and every vote. I look forward to starting another session of Congress after the holidays and will work to continue my perfect voting record," said Rep. Goodlatte.
