Shelby Applauds FTC Approval of United Launch Alliance
U.S. Senator Richard Shelby (R-AL) today made the following statement regarding the Federal Trade Commission's (FTC) approval of the Lockheed Martin - Boeing merger of rocket operations and production at Boeing's Decatur facility.
Senator Shelby said, "I am pleased to learn of the FTC's approval of this merger. The United Launch Alliance is great news for North Alabama and will potentially create hundreds of new jobs and increased economic opportunities for the region."
