Protect Our Seniors: Social Security, Medicare, Long-Term Care

We made a promise to older Americans, and we must keep that promise. I will fight to preserve and protect the promise of Social Security and Medicare. I will never vote to cut benefits. Not ever. I will always put Florida seniors first - protecting benefits and making sure the Social Security and Medicare systems work more effectively and efficiently. We must work to make prescription drugs more affordable. Sometimes it's a matter of making information available about the help some drug companies and states offer to reduce the cost of medication. But we must also work to make sure no one has to choose between food and medicine.

We should also look ahead, by expanding long-term care options so families can make decisions for themselves without being penalized for choosing to stay at home or lived with loved ones.
