Ms. SPANBERGER. Mr. Speaker, I rise to recognize the EmpowerMEnt Leadership Institute of The House, Inc. and their work to improve the lives of pre-teens and teens in the Greater Washington, D.C. area.

The House, Inc. hosts out-of-school time programs for pre-teens and teens in the Washington, D.C. Capital Region focusing on youth leadership development and social justice. Its EmpowerMEnt Leadership Institute, in partnership with the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, is a resource to develop the newest generation of youth activists, creators, and innovators and connect young people with more tools, more resources, more attention, and more inspiration.

It is my privilege to join The House, Inc. in recognizing the achievement of its Class of 2024 as they prepare to engage with issues of our time. Each of the following changemakers have demonstrated tenacity and a joy for learning and commitment to growth: Johanna Jarrett, Sophia Kona, Andrew Curry, Kayla Warren, Kesten Watson, Miles Woodard, Naiya Alexander, Nathan Warner, Jr., Garrett Mixon, Larry Copeland, Lauren Fain, Mia Patton, Treyvon Smith, and Jaelyn Young.

Mr. Speaker, I ask my colleagues to join me in celebrating the hard work and achievements of The House, Inc.'s 2024 EmpowerMEnt Leadership Institute graduates. I wish each of these students the best as they take their next step in becoming a leader and a champion for change.
