Location: Windsor, CT
Issues: Defense

Today Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) toured TLD America's Windsor facility and met with company leadership. TLD America is one of the many F-35 suppliers in Connecticut. The F-35 enterprise supports 6,000 jobs in the First District alone.

"Thank you to TLD America for hosting me today. I'm proud to have secured $12.7 billion for the F-35 program, which supports the work TLD is doing here in Windsor," said Larson. "In addition to their critical work on the F-35, I applaud them for their work to help airlines to transition away from fossil fuels and lessen their carbon footprint."

"TLD was pleased to host Congressman Larson in our Windsor Facility. The Congressman has done a lot to support the F-35 program, of which TLD is a key supplier. The work to support F-35 and other US Military programs allowed TLD to work through the pandemic without any layoffs. We were excited to highlight the work the team at TLD is doing to support ongoing military requirements as well as facilitate solutions for the commercial aviation sector to reduce carbon emissions," said TLD America CEO Richard Reno.
