Moolenaar Supports Bill to Block ICE Warrants From Being Used as ID

Congressman John Moolenaar has signed on a cosponsor of the Crime Doesn't Fly Act, a bill that prohibits Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agents from accepting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrest warrants as a valid form of identification at airport security checkpoints. Recent media reports covered how TSA is accepting arrest warrants as identification.

"Right now, TSA is allowing people to board flights even though ICE has issued a warrant for their arrest. That makes no sense and it needs to stop. The Crime Doesn't Fly Act will end this practice, improve airline safety, and help restore the rule of law to the immigration process," said Moolenaar.
