Rep. Ruben Gallego (AZ-07) proudly announced over $200 million in new federal funding under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), otherwise known as the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, is headed to Arizona to make much-needed improvements to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, which lies within Arizona's 7th District, over the next five years.

"With the passage of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, this Congress and the Biden Administration are bringing transformational infrastructure investments to Arizona. Over $40 million per year for Sky Harbor and millions more for other Arizona airports means good-paying jobs for Arizonans and air travel improvements that will benefit Arizona for decades to come," said Rep. Gallego. "We are witnessing just the beginning of the $7.3 billion Arizona will receive from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. I will not stop fighting for more funding, jobs, and infrastructure projects our community needs and deserves to build back a better Arizona."
