Graham Applauds Passage of Growing Climate Solutions Act

U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) today made the following statement after the Senate passed the Growing Climate Solutions Act.

"I'm very excited that the Growing Climate Solutions Act, which I am an original cosponsor of, overwhelmingly passed in the U.S. Senate today.

"This legislation creates a program within the U.S. Department of Agriculture to help farmers participate in carbon credit markets.

"The South Carolina farming community can have a tremendous impact in the area of carbon sequestration that will not only be beneficial to the environment but beneficial to those in the farming business and the public at large.

"This legislation is a win-win."
