Health care is a human right. Bob believes in universal health care and helped expand insurance coverage to over 650,000 people in Illinois through the implementation of the Affordable Care Act.

People should never have to make a choice between out-of-pocket health costs and other basic necessities. While in Springfield, Bob Morgan will fight to keep premium costs down -- a role that the Illinois Department of Insurance has abandoned under Governor Rauner.

The opioid epidemic is ravaging towns and destroying families in the 58th District and throughout every part of Illinois. Bob will partner with law enforcement and area agencies to educate our youth, get those who need treatment the help that they need, and fight to reverse the Rauner Administration reduction in funding for substance abuse treatment.
