Quality healthcare is important to everyone. We must continue to make adjustments to improve access to health care. Expanding the Silver State Healthcare Exchange with a focus on improving our state Medicaid system will support our community and healthcare providers. Physicians and other healthcare providers continue to struggle with the ever changing insurance landscape. It is important that we create stability for our healthcare providers and hospitals by increasing the Medicaid reimbursement rate for doctors and hospitals. The Medicaid reimbursement rate has not increased in a decade. We need to keep our good doctors here in Nevada.
