Congresswoman Miller Announces Two Grants for COVID-19 Response Among Homeless Individuals

Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) today announced two Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) CARES Act awards from the Department of Housing and Urban Development. The first award, worth $559,361, is for the City of Huntington, and the second, worth $7,166,583, is going to the state of West Virginia for distribution.

"It is so important that every West Virginian has access to the resources they need to recover from COVID-19, especially our at-risk citizens" said Congresswoman Miller. "As we reopen our state, I am doing all I can to locate and deliver funding to keep West Virginia safe and healthy."

These funds will be used to prepare and respond to the Coronavirus pandemic among individuals who are homeless or receiving homeless assistance across the state.
