Congressman Dent Joins America in Honoring our Nation's Veterans

WASHINGTON, D.C.- November 11th is a national holiday honoring the lives of and sacrifices of our country's Veterans. For more than fifty years, this day has been officially designated as Veterans Day, providing Americans an opportunity to pay tribute to those men and women who served our country. U.S. Rep. Charlie Dent (PA-15) issued the following statement in observance:

"This year's Veterans Day celebration is especially significant as our country's brave men and women continue the fight our country has always undertaken - for freedom, against tyranny. Today's celebration provides us an opportunity to express our thanks and praise to our veterans, who liberated continents, spread democracy, and defended us from brutal enemies."
