Today, Representative Antonio Delgado (NY-19) released the following statement in celebration of National Baseball Hall of Fame Weekend in Cooperstown, New York:
"I join in welcoming visitors from across the country to Cooperstown and beautiful Otsego County to celebrate our national pastime. This weekend, we all join in honoring a uniquely American experience that bonds communities, generations, and families." Delgado continued, "Congratulations to this year's inductees to the National Baseball Hall of Fame!"
This weekend is the Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame will induct six baseball legends to the National Hall of Fame; Mariano Rivera, Lee Smith, Mike Mussina, Roy Halladay, Edgar Martinez, and Harold Baines.
