Michigan has the highest auto insurance rates in the nation. Less than 0.01 percent of drivers will ever need to use unlimited, lifetime medical benefits as a result of a catastrophic auto accident; however, Michigan mandates that all drivers purchase unlimited, lifetime medical benefits through their auto insurance. I believe it is time to work together on reforming or repealing our auto no-fault auto insurance system to provide drivers with lower rates, combat auto insurance fraud, and reduce the number of uninsured drivers across our state.
