Issue Position

I ran my own business for over 30 years and understand the importance of enacting tax policy that respects individuals and businesses. People know best how to spend the money that they earn and government shouldn't over burden working people who support their families and run their businesses.

Senior citizens and retirees in Michigan deserve a rollback of their income taxes. Senior citizens and retirees have already paid so much of their income to the State of Michigan during their working years, it is time that we respect them with the ability to keep more of their hard-earned income.

As your State Senator, I will continue to fight on your behalf to make sure that Lansing doesn't take more of your hard earned money.
