Issue Position

The state budget grew outrageously under Governor Martin O'Malley. Thankfully, Governor Larry Hogan has gotten spending under control. The fact of the matter is that we must have prioritization of spending and strict budget management or taxes will spiral out of control.

Taxpayers have the right to keep more of their hard-earned money and I am against individuals being punished with higher tax burdens especially based on their economic success. I will fight every chance I get for legislation that lowers our tax burden and eliminates wasteful spending.
