Maryland's success depends on a thriving economy, a strong business community, and healthy collaboration between the public and private sectors. To strengthen Maryland's economy, we must work with the business community to support the creation of quality jobs that pay a living wage and provide benefits; provide greater opportunities for small and minority-/women-owned businesses; and close the wage gap for women and minorities.
