Issue Position

* I am committed to improving Connecticut's regulatory environment for businesses large and small, across industries, and will work to enact legislation in order to promote business growth.

* We need to evaluate our infrastructure needs and prioritize our roads and bridges that desperately need attention.

* Decreased funding and unfunded state mandates imposed on our towns and schools have compromised their ability to provide quality programs and education. I will work tirelessly to address this.

* Most importantly, spending at the state level is out of control. Our budget woes have sent our state and its reputation into a tail spin. I am going to the Capitol to look for ways to do the state's business much more cost effectively, look for waste and come up with creative solutions to get the work done.
