No hard-working person in Connecticut should ever have to choose between the health of themselves or a loved one, or the paycheck they need to make ends meet. There's a simple solution: Connecticut needs to pass a law guaranteeing paid family and medical leave when an employee or a family member needs care. They've done it in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island, and Connecticut needs to keep pace before we fall further behind.
