We can not allow one more high-capacity rifle to take any more American lives. It's not a coincidence that the two most recent tragedies took place in states with the lowest level of gun legislation in the country. I will continue to work diligently across party lines to enact common sense gun legislation, including a ban on the sale of assault weapons.
