Issue Position

Now that the Supreme Court has ruled on the adequacy of school funding passed by last year's Legislature, it will take all Legislators working together to devise a plan that meets all aspects of the court's ruling. If elected your legislator, I will work with all to assure we provide adequate funding for our children's education. Every dollar invested in education will reap dividends in the education of our students. Additionally, we need to make more opportunities available for post secondary education, including technical training. My position as a member of the Peaslee Tech Board of Directors has helped to affirm my understanding of the need to offer technical training as an alternative to college.
