Statement on the Passing of Chief Justice William Rehnquist

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The following is a statment from Congresswoman Mary Bono (CA-45) on the passing of Chief Justice William Rehnquist:

"I am deeply saddened by the loss of a great figure in American legal history, Chief Justice William Rehnquist. He was a mainstay of the U.S. Supreme Court and will be remembered for his intelligence, dignity and grace. His passing is a great loss for this nation. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time."
