During his time in the Senate, Joe has fought to end all forms of discrimination in New Jersey. Some of his work in fighting for civil rights includes revisions in the New Jersey Hate Crime Laws to further protect victims of bias intimidation, and restoring the basic right of victims of child abuse to hold their abuser accountable.
