Location: Washington, DC

U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.) launched her official Grants Assistance Program to provide Nevadans with the necessary resources and guidance they need when applying for federal grant funding.

"Federal grant funds provide critical resources to Nevada--from DOJ grants to fund equipment for Las Vegas police officers to FEMA grants to boost first responders' ability to respond to emergencies," said Senator Cortez Masto. "Although Nevada benefits greatly from all types of grant funding, there is still more work to be done to increase access to that funding. I will continue to work to ensure Nevadans have access to these essential funds with hopes of making Nevada an even better place to call home."

Senator Cortez Masto's Grants Program is designed to help constituents and local organizations with all grant-related questions or issues during every step of the application process. The program helps constituents identify funding opportunities and provides resources for writing successful grant applications. As applications are being completed, the office can serve as a liaison between state and federal agencies to ensure that constituents have access to all the information and resources they may need. Once applications are completed, the office can provide letters of support for applications if required. Though the grant application process can be daunting, Senator Cortez Masto's program is meant to assist constituents in submitting and implementing successful grants projects that will bring positive changes to communities across Nevada.
