Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3) today released the below statement on President Trump's executive action regarding the Department of Labor's (DOL's) fiduciary rule:

"I commend President Trump and his decision to delay the implementation of the DOL's misguided fiduciary rule. If implemented, the fiduciary rule would change the way that millions of Americans save for retirement and restrict the options available to them in planning for the future. It is yet another example of the unintended consequences of government intrusion, and I welcome the President's efforts to ease the regulatory pressure that so many Americans feel."
