If we do not address the bleeding at the state level, we cannot sustain, let alone grow. In 2015, the state budget hit the CT taxpayers with the second largest tax increase in the history of the state. The first was just 5 year prior. The only way out of perpetual deficit is long term structural change. We can do this with no new tax increases.
