Issues: Transportation Infrastructure
The unique geography of the Cape and Islands is part of what makes us special - but it also presents us with some unique challenges. Accessible and reliable transportation and infrastructure are critical to ensuring that we keep up with the pace of the 21st century while protecting our way of life. As State Senator, I will:
*Ensure adequate funding for roads, wastewater systems, and other infrastructure necessary critical for the Cape & Islands
*Distribute local aid and lottery revenues more equitably
*Support quality regional bus services
*Support the expansion of bike trails
*Explore year-round commuter rail service such as the Cape Flyer to connect our region to business hubs regardless of the season
