Issues: Marijuana Health and Health Care
As a practicing anesthesiologist who subspecializes in treating chronic pain conditions, I am acutely aware of the delicate balance that must be struck when treating those who suffer from debilitating, painful illnesses. As your State Senator, I have sponsored the bill to allow for medical cannabis to be used in the treatment of our sickest Tennesseans. Additionally, I have sponsored a bill that would help curtail the misuse of some of the most powerful opiates available.
