By almost every conceivable metric, Obamacare has failed. Americans have seen their healthcare plans cancelled and their options limited. We pay more for less, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. We must repeal and replace this misguided and harmful law.

Peter has long supported the full repeal and replacement of Obamacare. As a member of the Ways & Means Health Subcommittee, he supports patient-centered alternatives designed to increase access to affordable, portable health insurance and spur competition among providers to bring down costs.

Peter authored legislation to appoint a Special Inspector General to Monitor the Affordable Care Act (SIGMA). This independent office would serve as a nonpartisan advocate for the public, investigating every aspect of the law across all federal agencies. SIGMA would be a valuable tool to help lawmakers make informed decisions, hold the Administration accountable, and protect the American people from this disastrous law.
