Congress could use more people from outside government who understand how decisions made, or not made, in Washington impact small businesses.

As a successful small business executive, LuAnn knows what is needed to improve Northern Virginia's economy and create good jobs. Her company helped create job opportunities for more than 1,000 workers and generated millions of dollars in economic development, while promoting energy efficient and environmentally sustainable development projects throughout the Metro region.

LuAnn will fight for pro-growth policies to expand opportunity and make our country more secure at home and abroad. She'll roll up her sleeves to get Congress working again so that businesses have certainty and stability when making important decisions about how to invest in and grow their business.

LuAnn supports:

Rebuilding our nation's crumbling infrastructure including the creation of a national infrastructure bank to leverage both public and private funds.
Increased strategic investments in science, technology, research and development that will spur innovation and entrepreneurship.
Eliminating unnecessary regulations that make it more difficult for small businesses to raise capital and grow their business.
Increased investment in renewable energy sources and technologies as well as a 21st century power grid.
Expanding access to high-speed internet in our rural communities.
