"In New Mexico, it is vital that we lead the nation and the world in research and application of solar and wind technology. Greater research needs to be done on the French policy of recycling nuclear waste rather than store housing all of it in WIPP. Coal is not the energy of the future; transitioning away from it, however, must be done in increments, with intention, and with attention to jobs."
