Issue Position: Jobs and Opportunity

Issue Position

Democrat politicians have preached hope and change but have not been able to deliver with results. The reality is that many in our district have lost hope. We have to restore the belief that through hard work, in a society with few barriers, there is an opportunity for prosperity, success, and an upward mobility. We need to draw on the strength of our communities and recognize that creating a brighter future for our children will not be possible unless we create safe, supportive and healthy communities teeming with opportunities.

It is time for fresh conservative thinking in Washington where family and community are the focus of our decisions. We have to create opportunities for jobs and innovation that comes from improved educational systems and less government intrusion. That is why I have worked tirelessly to bring more educational quality options to the people I represent. We need to help make our students more competitive in the workforce and promote economic and social development in accordance with our own self-determination, goals, and values.

I will fight to end our failed one system fits all federal policies.

Opportunities are not available without jobs and education. The challenge we will face in the 21st Century will be how we compete for the jobs of today and tomorrow. With new ideas and a less intrusive government, our future is bright especially in Arizona Congressional District 1.
