June 28th, 2005 - "The President reminded us that, just as it took America 12 years to ratify the Constitution after declaring independence, the road to democracy in Iraq will be hard and long. In the midst of great sacrifices by the brave men and women of our armed forces, we are making progress: elections have been held, a constitution is being drafted, more elections are coming this December."
