Today, Congressman Xavier Becerra (CA-34) issued the following statement on the closing of California's Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant.
"The decision to close California's last nuclear power plant is welcome news and one more sign that California is leading the country on clean energy efficiency.
"In the 21st century, we should be focused on protecting the health and safety of all Californians and meeting our state energy efficiency goals."
