Floor Statement of Senator Chuck Grassley
"I strongly oppose any use of torture by service members or civilians as a means of interrogation. We have had some instances where there have been problems and those who have mistreated prisoners are being dealt with. Terrorists must continue to be questioned in order to gain information that could save lives. But, we are a country that believes in the rule of law and we will not stand for abuse in order to get that information."
