Congressman Hardy to Host Career Advancement Workshop

Congressman Cresent Hardy (NV-4) will host a Career Advancement Workshop this Thursday to connect Nevadans with job opportunities and resources that will help prepare job seekers for a better career.

"Politicians too often talk about the economy in terms of statistics alone. We should never forget that behind every number is an individual seeking to support themselves or their family," said Congressman Hardy. "Opportunities like this Career Advancement Workshop are crucial to lifting our communities by helping Nevadans get back to work and enhance their careers."

Workshop attendees will learn how to strengthen their interviewing skills, build a strong resume and effectively search for available jobs from employers and staffing experts. Participants will also receive information on job readiness training, High School Equivalency courses, free English classes, computer literacy classes and much more.
