Issue Position

Educators like my mother, who recently retired from public education after a distinguished career, will be proud to learn I took a stand for them against districts and administrators who've put them in harm's way with policies that kept dangerous situations from being reported to the police. My House Bill 1783 banned those practices and affirmed teachers' rights, keeping our classrooms the safe places they should be.
