Governor Doug Ducey Orders The Lowering Of Flags In Honor Of Ann Day

Statement

Date: May 9, 2016

"Arizona lost a remarkable public servant this weekend with the tragic death of Ann Day. A former state senator and Pima County supervisor, Ann was a dedicated champion for Southern Arizona and those she served. We are saddened by her loss but grateful for her legacy. Our prayers remain with her family during this difficult time.

"In honor of the life and service of Ann Day, I've ordered that flags at all state buildings be lowered to half-staff until sunset today, May 9, 2016. May God bless and watch over her and her loved ones."
