Congressman Keith Rothfus [PA-12] released the following statement on the EPA's recently-announced methane emission regulations:
"This latest EPA attack on the oil and gas industry will hurt an already battered industry, killing American jobs and endangering our energy security," said Congressman Rothfus. "American ingenuity has allowed us to access abundant energy reserves in Pennsylvania and elsewhere. It is impossible to justify destroying the living of hard working oil and gas industry workers with this regulatory onslaught, especially given the negligible environmental benefits it would provide."
