Today, U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) released the following statement regarding reports of an increased gas tax included in President Obama's FY 2017 budget proposal:

"Another budget, another tax on the middle class. President Obama targets new taxes on Americans that can afford it the least to spend more taxpayer dollars on his green energy schemes. Congress should and will reject it."
