House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) today issued the following statement after North Korea tested a new long-range missile:

"The United States will not be intimidated by a belligerent dictator in Pyongyang. This type of provocative behavior is exactly why the House just passed additional sanctions to further isolate Kim's regime. We must continue to make the correct investment in our missile defense capabilities, and stand with our regional partners in the face of this new round of North Korean aggression."
