Congressman Ted S. Yoho (R-FL-03) joined Members of Congress in supporting a resolution formally censuring President Barack Obama for refusing to faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States. Congressman Yoho released the following statement:

"The recent executive overreach by President Obama -- against the Second Amendment - is in direct violation of his sworn oath of office. Seven years ago he placed his hand on the Bible and said, ""I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.'' On numerous occasions, he has failed to live up to this oath.

"From his refusal to enforce immigration laws, circumventing Congress, to delaying provisions of Obamacare, time and again, his unconstitutional actions have shown a blatant disregard for our designed system of government.

"Congress and the American people will go on record to show our displeasure with his actions and remind him that, "All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States."
