The family is the fundamental unit of society.
"I believe the breakdown of the family unit is one of the greatest challenges in our society," states Carlton. "When the family unit breaks down, a host of issues follow suit that can linger for generations. It is in all of our best interests to strengthen and support families."
We must do what we can to support the home, no matter the makeup of the family. Families deserve our best efforts at providing a framework wherein they can work to achieve their best.
