Leader McCarthy Statement on End-of-Year Legislation

House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (CA-23) released the following statement after the House passed the yearlong omnibus appropriations bill:

"Throughout this year, the House Republican Conference has been working hard to undo the damage from this Administration's rules and regulations and proactively offer a new path for America. In our vision, the United States military has the resources it needs to keep America safe, the outdated ban on oil exports is lifted to allow America to grow and help our allies, key components of Obamacare are dismantled on our path toward a full repeal, and the IRS is strictly limited so that nobody is targeted on the basis of their political beliefs. Because the House Republican Conference's relentless focus, many conservative policies we have been working on all year will now become law."
