Not One Cent For Iran Until It Pays For Its Terror

House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) today applauded passage of H.R. 3457, the Justice for Victims of Iranian Terrorism Act, authored by Rep. Pat Meehan (R-PA):

"The president's deal with Iran is so bad and so backwards that Iran's hardliners get a payday while the victims of their terror get nothing. These families are victims of the worst terrorist attacks of our time, from September 11th and Khobar Towers to the attack on our Marine barracks in Beirut, and all they get from the Obama administration is lip service. It's just wrong. At the very least, Iran should not get one single cent in sanctions relief until it pays the billions it owes to these families. This is a vote for justice and it is another vote against this bad deal with Iran. I commend Pat Meehan for his leadership, and urge the full Senate to take up his bill immediately."
