As a husband and father to a daughter, supporting economic equality for women is a top priority. Currently, women in Louisiana receive 67 cents for every dollar that their male counterparts receive. It is past time that women in Louisiana receive equal pay for equal work.

Furthermore, women deserve access lifesaving health care services, such as annual screenings and family planning resources and education.
